Privacy Policy

What we collect

If you subscribe to the weekly email, we collect your email address and your language preference. That's it — we don't ask for a name, a phone number, or anything else. The site also stores your language preference in your browser's local storage. We use third-party analytics services to see pseudonymous usage data — a randomly assigned visitor ID, page views, and referrers; we never see your name or email through analytics. These services may set cookies to recognize repeat visits and measure traffic sources, and process that data under their own privacy terms.

Why we collect it

Your email address and language preference are stored in our subscriber database and used solely to send you the weekly comparison digest in your preferred language. We don't use it for anything else — no ads, no reselling, no other newsletters.

How subscribing works

Subscribing is double opt-in: you enter your email, we send a confirmation link from [email protected], and you click it to confirm. You're only added to the list once you've confirmed. Every digest email includes an unsubscribe link.

Feedback widget

When enabled, the site shows a feedback button run by a third-party tool. Loading a page with the button downloads the tool's code from its servers — a normal script request that happens whether or not you click anything. The button itself sends nothing about you until you open it and submit something. If you do, that tool receives what you wrote, an optional screenshot of the page you were on, and basic technical details (the page URL, your browser, and your screen size), and processes them under its own privacy terms. Anything you type into that form — including a name or email, if you choose to give one — goes to that tool as well. We use it only to understand and reply to your feedback, and it never gets added to the subscriber list.

Retention and deletion

We keep your email address and language preference until you unsubscribe. To delete your data, click the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us at [email protected] and we'll remove you. Deleting means the row is deleted from our database — nothing lingers behind.

No selling, no sharing, no ads

We don't sell or share your personal information with advertisers or anyone else, and we don't run advertising on this site. There are no accounts or logins — the only personal information we store is the email/language pair you gave us to subscribe and anything you chose to send us through the feedback button. Separately, your browser holds your language preference in local storage, and our analytics services hold a pseudonymous visitor ID and traffic data as described above — neither of which is tied to your name or email.

Your rights

You can request access to, or deletion of, your data anytime by emailing [email protected]; California residents have additional rights under state law.

Hosting

The site and its circular images are served by our hosting provider. Subscriber data lives in our database and is never included in this site's public data, images, or logs.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the bottom of this page reflects the last update.
